Match Description
Competitors will engage targets from 25yards to 550yards during this competition. Targets will be a mix of paper, clays, static and reactive steel. Most of our matches will incorporate the following:
- Positional Shooting
- Multiple Targets
- Shooting from various props. i.e. barricades
- Hold overs and hold under.
- All stages are under time pressure.
- A lot of stages incorporate several of the things mentioned above and more!
Specific Course of Fire instructions are given before the match.
Minimum Required Equipment List
I. Bolt Rifle with optics in 6mm to 30cal at a speed limit of 3100FPS
II. Ammo — 60 rounds. NO Full Metal Jacket, Steel Core, or Armor Piercing rounds allowed. Some months may have a higher round count. Please join our online forum for up to date information.
II. Hearing protection, Eye Protection, and Empty Chamber Flags (Electronic amplifying models strongly suggested i.e. Peltor Tac 6)
III. Tools to run your gun and optics. (We want to minimize delays as much as possible)
IV. Note taking gear. (Attention to detail will earn you points)
V. Some sort of pack to carry all your equipment/gear in.
VI. Shooters may use any other accessory as long as it is carried through the duration of the match.
VII. Competitor must complete the match with the same rifle he or she started with.
VIII. Pack wisely since all gear will need to be with you on the firing line at all times, but will not be required to be carried during a course of fire.
IX. Elbow pads, knee pads, and good foot wear strongly suggested.
